Mediumship - what’s it all about?

Mediumship nowadays has become so popular that it has almost become entertainment to some individuals. But, it must be understood that mediumship is the communication from spirit - through spirit - to spirit for the sole purpose of healing. It is not to be used for entertainment purposes.

When professional mediums demonstrate their gifts in an auditorium or theatre - it is not for entertainment, for spirit recognizes that souls can be touched, great healings can take place, and those who have wandered from their spiritual path can be touched by spirit through words and evidence from the world of spirit. This same form of healing can happen with a sitting with a professionally trained medium and the person who may be suffering from grief can begin their healing journey - negating months of therapy and hurt. It must be noted however, that the willingness of the individual to heal must come from within, for if the evidence falls on deaf ears - healing will be a long way away.

So how is this communion with spirit achieved?

Firstly the medium has to be able to raise his or her vibration to match that of the spirit being whether it is a guide or discarnate spirit. When this match is made then communication between the medium and spirit commences to pass on the evidence that proves that life continues after the physical death of the body. Another point to note is that the medium is only a channel, it is not how good the medium can perform, but how well the medium can maintain a clear and pure connection. Mediumship is never guaranteed, it is spirit who decides if they want to communicate.
