Why do some mediums have to over dramatize things?
I am absolutely sure that some of you will have experienced at some point, a medium that is so dramatic they go over board. Some of these mediums are incredibly famous, and some not so famous. Nevertheless, they are very parallel in their egos if you will, and often go over board with what they are feeling in order to effect an extreme reaction.
I have been witness to mediums who cry at the least little thing, and some who speak so loudly they would have you think you are doing battle with the forces of evil. I myself have been in many frightening situations and have witnessed some amazing phenomena, but never once have I had to do battle out loud. Nor have I ever had to over dramatize any of my readings or cry at the least little thing. This behaviour is what gives us as mediums a bad reputation and those that are grounded on the earth plane would claim that we are insane. A great deal of communication goes on within the energy field and the mind of the medium. I have had spirits swear at me and threaten me, but I do not feel the need to call out or to dramatize what is going on. Often when we help a grounded spirit cross to the light, it can be done in relative silence. So the next time that you watch the TV and witness this nonsense that some would portray, remember that much of what happens is done in silence. A medium cannot be possessed by a spirit instantly and then do battle with the spirit. Your spiritual authority would not allow this if you have already taken up the gauntlet of the spiritual path.
Mediums have to take responsibility for what they portray. Many give individuals the wrong impression and that is so sad, because, it belittles the reality of our work. The way that we deliver our messages is so important and therefore one must consider the feelings of those around the sitter or if in the audience – the recipient. Please do not be fooled by over dramatization of what is going on – especially when on paranormal investigations. Perhaps a day will come when directors of TV shows – tone it
